Welcome to the Land of Lincoln Border Collie Association or LOLBCA. Our club has been supporting working border collie activities in the mid-west for over 30 years. Our organization was formed to:
· Promote the use of herding dogs in livestock operations
· Educate and train stock owners in the use of herding dogs in their operations
· Educate herding dog owners interested in developing the natural talents and instincts of their dog
· Support other organizations with mutual interests such as Future Farmers of America, 4-H clubs etc.
· Provide a fun, sportsmanlike competition in the open field USBCHA style herding trial

CLUB NEWS
Our annual July SDT is scheduled for July 12-14, 2024 at the Three Sisters Park, 17189 N. Rt. 29, Chillicothe, IL 61523. We will again be running a two field trial. There will be an Open field, with Open 1 & 2 classes spread across the three-day period.; this will allow us to accommodate more dogs per handler. We will also have a Novice field, where we will run 3 Nursery, 2 Pro-Novice, 2 Ranch and 2 Novice runs. Entries will open May 1st, and will be taken via The Handlers Post (handlerspost.com).
MEMBERSHIP
Club membership is available, $20 single person and $25 family membership. Membership dues can be paid before or with the trial entry.
